Assessment & certificate
How learners are assessed
Learners demonstrate their practical skills on baby and child manikins and complete a multiple-choice theory paper. Successful learners receive a nationally recognised, Ofqual-regulated Level 3 Paediatric First Aid certificate, valid for 3 years.
Keep skills fresh between certificates
Our online Paediatric First Aid Refresher is a CPD course on IC E-Learning. It doesn’t replace the 3-year certificate.
