Which course does your school need?
Choose the right course for your staff
All three are Ofqual-regulated Level 3 courses. Certificates are valid for 3 years.
Paediatric First Aid
- For nurseries, schools & childminders
- 12 hours: e-learning + 1 day on site
- Certificate valid 3 years
Emergency First Aid at Work
- For workplace emergency first aiders
- 6 hours on site, or e-learning + 3 hrs on site
- Certificate valid 3 years
First Aid at Work
- Full course: 3 days (day 1 online)
- Requalification: 2 days for current holders
- Certificate valid 3 years
Guidance
What the guidance expects
See the Department for Education’s guidance on First aid in schools, early years and colleges and the HSE’s guidance on first aid at work. Our Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work courses meet HSE requirements.
For early years, the EYFS statutory framework requires a full paediatric first aid course of at least 12 hours, renewed every 3 years. Ours is 12 hours and meets Ofsted and EYFS requirements.
